General Dentistry

Maintaining oral health includes good home care and regular visits to our office for preventive care, which includes oral examinations and cleanings. Even with excellent care, however, teeth and gums can be susceptible to disease, infection, cavities, cracks, or other forms of damage.

Preventive care including exams, cleanings, root canals and extractions to maintain oral health. Comprehensive examinations of the mouth, teeth, surrounding gum tissues, and supporting bone structures help with early detection and treatment of problematic conditions.

New Patient Exam. At your first appointment you can expect a comprehensive exam. This includes a head and neck exam, TMJ assessment, oral cancer screening, periodontal exam and a hard tissue exam. It is at this appointment Dr. Sahrai determines the type of cleaning and any further treatment you may need.

Root Canal Therapy. A root canal is needed when the nerve of the tooth has been damaged, either due to trauma or bacteria reaching the nerve of the tooth.

Emergencies. We take dental emergencies seriously. If you call us during our normal business hours, we will do everything we can to see you the same day.

Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is the aspect of dentistry that helps maintain oral and overall health even when the health of one or more teeth or the surrounding areas is compromised. Restorative dentistry helps preserve natural teeth.

The goal of restorative dentistry is to restore the function and integrity of the tooth structure, function, and health, while maintaining a natural appearance. Fillings, dental crowns, dental bridges, dentures, and dental implants help restore the appearance and function of natural teeth.

Dental Implants. A filling is a composite resin that is placed when a tooth has a cavity. It is removed and a composite is placed to replace any missing tooth structure.

Dental Crowns and Bridges. If a tooth structure is too damaged for a filling, we use dental crowns to restore function and appearance.

Dentures. A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth. There are two types of dentures: Complete (Full) and Partial Dentures.

Teeth Whitening. Teeth will naturally lose their brightness over time. Drinking coffee or tea, or using tobacco, as well as certain childhood medications can cause teeth to discolor or darken even faster than normal.

Veneers. Porcelain veneers are thin pieces of porcelain used to recreate the natural appearance of teeth. To place a veneer, a thin layer of the original tooth enamel must be removed. An adhesive layer is placed between the prepared tooth and the veneer and then hardened with the use of a specialized curing light.

Invisalign. Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact tooth movements our office plans out for you.
